Royal Paintbox: Royal Artists Past and Present
Saturday, 22 June 2013 until Sunday 26, January 2014.
Members of the British Royal family have been inspired to paint, draw and sculpt for generations. A new exhibition at Windsor Castle will show examples of their handiwork from the last 350 years, including detailed architectural drawings, atmospheric landscapes and intimate portraits of family members.
Note: Tickets are sold at a reduced rate when the State Apartments are closed.

State Apartments closed:
On these dates, The Precints, Queen Mary's Dolls' House and The Drawings Gallery will continue to be open. Reduced admission charges will apply.
Semi-State Rooms Closed
During the winter months an additional five rooms, known collectively as the Semi-State Rooms, are included in the visitor route. These rooms are open until 27 March 2012 and standard admission charges apply. Please note that when the State Apartments are closed the Semi-State Rooms will not be open.
St George's Chapel
St. George's Chapel is open daily but closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services. An evening service is held everyday at 17.15, and visitors are welcome to attend. For more information please telephone 01753 865538.

As a working Royal palace, the Castle is used frequently by The Queen for State ceremonies and official entertaining and opening arrangements may change at short notice. Please check opening arrangements before planning a visit (24-hour information line 01753 831118).
Audio tours, guided tours and guidebooks
Tours of Windsor Castle and St George's Chapel are self-guided. An audio tour, which lasts approximately 2 hours is included in the ticket price. A family audio tour and family activity trails are also available in English. The audio tour and Official Guidebook are available in the following languages: English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Chinese & Russian. Guided tours of the Castle Precincts are available at regular intervals throughout the day. Precinct tours last approximately 30 minutes and depart from the Admissions Centre. The tours are included in the ticket price.
Changing of the Guard
Changing the Guard takes place at 11.00 daily from April until the end of July and on alternate days for the rest of the year, weather permitting. Changing of the Guard does not take place on Sundays.
Print at Home
Unless stipulated in the booking process all bookings require customers to print their voucher off in order to be exchanged for entry to the attraction or tour. We cannot guarantee entry without a printed voucher and will not be able to cancel or refund customers who do not print the vouchers and therefore can't gain access to the venue or tour.
If you cannot print your voucher off for any reason please contact us before arriving at the venue.
